Resurrection Day 2011
Olivia was very excited from the get-go and wanted to find as many eggs as she could!
From start to finish, she loving the egg hunting this year!
Olivia's basket overfloweth...Why, might you ask, is Spencer's basket empty?
Hmmm.....
Spencer's egg hunt didn't last more than five minutes. He had other ideas for the morning...
He is only two!
He is only two!

Planting Flowers
I tried planting flowers about 3 years ago and few of them lived over a month... Those that did survive had all their petals blown off in one of our many wind storms by early summer. There's just not an ounce of green in my thumb. But, thanks to Richard's prompting, we made a trip to Home Depot today and we are trying again!
Here's an bit more natural shot. One of the flowers in the back is a snap dragon. I am really, really hoping it grows well. We planted it close to the house, so it should get quite a bit of shade. I remember a beautiful snap dragon in our back yard growing up; it was always one of my favorite flowers. Even better, it came back every year, if I remember right, with not a whole lot of care. Time will tell, but I hope our flowers do well!!!

Potty Training? Probably not quite yet!
I'm not starting yet, but I am planting the seed... We bought Spencer the underwear of his choice a few days ago. What would he pick? Cars? Toy Story? Mickey? The answer is... Sponge Bob, aka "Ponge Bo" (the "o" is a short vowel sound).

A Typical Sunday Ride
We are love, love, loving the beautiful spring weather. The kids spent quite a bit of time outside this weekend. It looked a little like this.
Olivia enjoyed riding her Hot Wheels jeep, even though it's really gutless, it constantly gets stuck on pavement gravel , and only one wheel turns when you push the gas while stuck (the others don't move at all).
Spencer (who was lucky enough to ride the Power Wheels that actually has power), in typical boy-like fashion, continued to find ways to get his little 4-wheeler stuck. Whether in the rocks, on the grass, or on the curbing, he was constantly finding himself stuck. PS: Ignore the fact that his negligent parents had yet to enforce the helmet law at this point in time.
So, Spencer would take matters into his own hands, and usually didn't get far....
