If You're Happy and You Know It Clap Your Hands

I wrote down Saturday, October 31, 2009 (Richard's birthday) as the day Spencer started clapping his hands! He now thinks it's great fun and claps whenever we hear music, whether it's his sister's Hannah Montana CD in my car, music he likes in the grocery store, or Mother Goose Time songs at daycare. He gets the biggest kick over the fact that other people can clap with him; he starts laughing in his hoarse little voice and I just want to laugh with him. This new game is almost as much fun as peek-a-boo.
