We headed out to Huntington beach one evening and had a lot of fun. We walked out on the pier and almost made it to the end. However a little girl, who shall remain nameless (and refused to use the bathroom upon our arrival, I might add) decided she did need to go potty when we were about 3/4 of the way to the end. Retracing our steps just wasn't worth it because it was so very windy!
The kids enjoyed the beach a lot. It was Spencer's first time playing in the sand, and Olivia was too young to remember her first trip to the beach.
Richard thought it would be fun to bury Spencer's legs in the sand.
Spencer thought so too, and Olivia sure wasn't going to be outdone by her little brother!
We weren't quite brave enough to test the water, but you can see our footprints in the sand.
It was so incredibly windy on the beach!
