The Krabby Patty House

When we got home from vacation, we decided it would be really nice for the kids to have a swing set in the back yard. It's a good 10 minute drive to the nearest descent playground, and just a hassle to get all loaded up to go, etc. We've been talking about the purchase for a long time and we finally took the plunge. Olivia has coined it her Krabby Patty House. Only Sponge Bob fans can appreciate such a unique name!

Looking at all the boards wasn't really that overwhelming, but oh my goodness. . . the multiple bags and different sizes of nuts, bolts, and screws made our heads spin.
This would become the climbing wall. The boards next to it, in the front of the picture, are the ladder rungs. You get a glimpse of the small parts in the background.

The job foreman... The cutest boss we could ask for, and pretty dang laid back, too! Just make sure he gets apple juice when he wants it and all will be happy at the work site!

Olivia checking out her Dad's progress. We were wearing winter coats (and capris it seems) at the end of May, first of June. Will summer ever get here???

The frame. . .
It doesn't look like much, but it took us awhile to get it together.

Richard did quite a bit of work on his days off, while I worked. Thus, we are missing some pictures of our progress midway. Sometimes I think he works faster without my assistance.

Ready to swing on, but still missing part of the roof... Stay tuned.
